Revitalizing our Community Garden

One box at a time, we are revitalizing our community garden. In the spring of 2024 we identified that of the 14 original boxes, only 8 were in good enough condition for member’s use. The boxes in disrepair were either dismantled, offered to community members at reduces cost, used as communal herb gardens, or turned to wild flower beds.

Thanks in part to funding by the City of Vancouver, the Cambie Square Community Gardens will be offering a series of demonstrations and information sessions on garden box construction. Please visit our Garden Events page for details.
